Accessibility Statement
The web should work for everyone.
Our commitment
E11 Group, LLC believes the web should work for everyone, regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology. We design and build every Launchpad site to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We hold the marketing site you’re reading right now to the same standard.
Conformance target
WCAG 2.1 Level AA
Accessibility is treated as a non-negotiable floor, not a feature. It’s part of the design phase, the build phase, and our ongoing weekly audits. It’s not an afterthought layered on at launch.
Standards we follow
We target conformance with:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. The broadly recognized international standard.
- Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, as updated in 2018.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Title III considerations for places of public accommodation.
- EN 301 549. The European harmonized standard for ICT accessibility, where relevant for clients with EU audiences.
Where standards conflict, we follow the more accessible interpretation.
What we test
Every page we ship is verified across the following criteria before it goes live, and re-verified weekly by our operations agent:
Keyboard navigation
Tab order · focus traps · skip links
Screen readers
VoiceOver · NVDA · JAWS
Color contrast
4.5:1 body · 3:1 large text
Focus indicators
Visible · high contrast · 2px minimum
Semantic HTML
Landmarks · headings · lists · buttons
Reduced motion
prefers-reduced-motion respected
Design phase
- Every color combination is contrast-tested at design time. Body text meets a 4.5:1 minimum on its background; large text meets 3:1.
- Typography sizing uses fluid scales that respect user font-size preferences.
- Interactive elements are designed with hover, focus, and active states from the start.
- Touch targets are at least 44×44 pixels.
Build phase
- Semantic HTML throughout (real headings, lists, buttons, landmarks).
- ARIA used only where semantic HTML doesn’t carry the right meaning.
- Forms include proper labels, error messages, and assistive cues.
- Images include meaningful
alttext. Decorative images are explicitly marked. - Animation respects
prefers-reduced-motion.
Tools we use
We use a combination of automated and manual review. No single tool catches everything. Accessibility is fundamentally about the human experience, so a human always signs off.
Automated
- axe-core. Runs on every build and pull request.
- Lighthouse. Page-level accessibility audits, run weekly by Atlas.
- Pa11y. Site-wide crawling against WCAG 2.1 AA.
- WAVE. Used for visual review of structural issues.
Manual
- Keyboard-only navigation. Every interactive element reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Screen-reader walkthroughs. VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows).
- Zoom and reflow. Content stays usable up to 400% zoom.
- Color simulation. Design previews under deuteranopia, protanopia, tritanopia.
Compatibility
The marketing site and Launchpad platform have been tested on:
- Browsers: recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
- Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), TalkBack (Android).
- Operating systems: macOS, iOS, Windows, Android.
The site is responsive and works across screen sizes from mobile (320px) to large desktop (2560px+).
Known issues
We aim for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, but accessibility is a continuous practice. Areas we’re actively monitoring:
- Some embedded third-party content (e.g., calendar widgets, payment forms) inherits accessibility from the upstream provider. We choose providers with strong accessibility records but cannot guarantee their conformance.
- Live preview of draft design work uses real HTML and CSS, but in-progress designs may temporarily contain issues that are resolved before approval and publishing.
- The animated hero on the marketing home page is decorative and respects
prefers-reduced-motion; if you’d prefer a static alternative without enabling that OS-level setting, let us know.
Found a barrier?
We treat accessibility input as first-class product feedback, not a complaint. If something blocks you, or just feels harder than it should, we want to hear about it.
How to report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on e11group.com/launchpad or any Launchpad-built site, email [email protected] with:
- The URL where you encountered the issue.
- The browser and assistive technology you were using.
- A description of what happened (and what you expected).
We respond to accessibility reports within one business day. If the issue can be fixed quickly, we deploy the fix immediately. Larger issues are tracked publicly in your portal (for client sites) or in our internal accessibility log.
Continuous improvement
Every Launchpad site is audited weekly by Atlas, our operations agent. Regressions surface as alerts in your portal so the responsible person can fix them before they reach users.
Platform improvements that improve accessibility ship to every Launchpad site automatically. When we make the platform more accessible, your site benefits without any action on your part.
Our roadmap
Items on our near-term accessibility roadmap:
- Full WCAG 2.2 conformance review (currently targeting 2.1; 2.2 adds a small number of additional success criteria).
- Expanded screen-reader test matrix to include Orca on Linux.
- Public per-site accessibility scorecards in client portals.
Contact
For feedback, questions, or formal accessibility complaints, email [email protected]. Put “Accessibility” in the subject line so the report routes correctly.
